A ministerial committee visits the College of Engineering. 

 In implementation of the recommendations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to include the English language course in primary and postgraduate studies in addition to a group of university courses, a ministerial committee headed by Professor Dr. Muhammad Nasser visited the College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University in this regard on Thursday, 16th Nov. 2023. The committee was received by Professor Dr. Jumaa Salman Chiad , Dean of the College of Engineering.

 The committee reviewed the teaching schedules for the scientific departments, listing the university courses in the first and second semesters of the academic year 2023-2024.

 During its visit, the committee inspected the multimedia language laboratory at the college, in which proficiency courses in Arabic, English, and computer subjects are held for applicants for postgraduate studies. The ministerial committee also viewed the studio for recording  lectures and publishing them on the YouTube channel. The committee also inquired about official communications about the  possibility of accrediting the laboratory within one of the accredited centers for conducting the IELTS .
