The two-stage design includes, the first stage is a mechanical design to make the knee joint more free to move and respond to the rotation of the electric motor to obtain the flexion and extension of the leg. The second stage involves the design of a simplified electronic circuit programmed by the flowcode4. People with amputation above the knee when wearing the artificial limb will generate pressure during movement between the remaining muscles thigh and the socket, to measure the result of this pressure, the force sensor is attached to the contact zone to obtain a graduated voltage according to the amount of pressure produced by the motion activity. These voltages are transferred to the microprocessor, which Is a mini computer Where the programmed files are placed ,these voltages are programmed at microprocessor and transferred to the electric motor to obtain the required movement of the smart transfemral prosthetic. After completion of manufacture and programming of the prosthetic Simulation performed between the healthy leg and the artificial limb.The results showed the quick and accurate response of the smart transfemral prosthetic and its imitation of the natural leg movement with high flow also the total cost of the smart transfemral prosthetic was reduced to 1000 dollars while preserving the Durability and strength factors. In this way, the prosthetic is a trader for people with special needs who suffer from amputation and provide them as part of the human aspect and for the purpose of better integration with society.
