The College of Engineering hosts the opening ceremony of the Higher Institute of Forensic Sciences at Nahrain University. 

Under the patronage and attendance of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, the halls of the College of Engineering hosted the opening ceremony of the Higher Institute of Forensic Sciences for Postgraduate Studies at Nahrain University on َ 20th jan, 2024,  in the halls of the College of Engineering. 

The Minister indicated that the establishment of this type of specialized institutes will provide students with the opportunity to obtain a specialization in vital sectors and fields that overlap with the sciences of justice and play an important role in applying the law and protecting the rights of individuals and society.

Master's studies have been opened in the following specializations: forensic chemistry, forensic engineering, and forensic sciences.
