أقام قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي في كلية الهندسة-جامعة النهرين وبرعاية كريمة من السيد عميد كلية الهندسة الأستاذ الدكتور أياد مراد طخاخ المحترم  وبالتنسيق مع شعبة الأعلام والتواصل الحكومي وبالتعاون مع وحدة حقوق الانسان ندوة علمية بعنوان:

 (حقوق الأنسان في ضوء التطور البايوتكنولوجي)

والقى الندوة كل من المدرس المساعد دعاء ضياء ابراهيم والمدرس المساعد علي قاسم من كلية الهندسة-جامعة النهرين وذلك يوم الاحد الموافق 28-12-2025 وهدفت الندوة العلمية الى النقاط التالية:

- تسليط الضوء على العلاقة بين حقوق الإنسان والتطورات البايوتكنولوجية الحديثة، ولاسيما في مجالات الهندسة الوراثية، الذكاء الاصطناعي الطبي، والخلايا الجذعية.

- مناقشة الأبعاد الأخلاقية والقانونية للتطبيقات البايوتكنولوجية وتأثيرها على كرامة الإنسان وحقوقه الأساسية.

- تعزيز الوعي الأكاديمي والمجتمعي بالمخاطر والفرص التي يفرضها التطور البايوتكنولوجي على حقوق الإنسان.

- بيان دور التشريعات الوطنية والدولية في تنظيم استخدام التقنيات البايوتكنولوجية بما يضمن حماية الحقوق الإنسانية.

- توضيح مسؤولية الباحثين والمؤسسات الأكاديمية والطبية في الالتزام بمبادئ حقوق الإنسان أثناء البحث والتطبيق.

- تشجيع الحوار العلمي متعدد التخصصات بين القانونيين، والأطباء، والمهندسين، وعلماء الأخلاق الحيوية.

وقد تم الخروج بتوصيات عملية تسهم في تحقيق التوازن بين التقدم العلمي وحماية حقوق الإنسان ودعم ثقافة البحث العلمي المسؤول القائم على احترام القيم الإنسانية والمعايير الأخلاقية.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University, organized a scientific seminar under the gracious patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Iyad Murad Takhakh, and in coordination with the Media and Government Communication Division, and in cooperation with the Human Rights Unit. The seminar was entitled:

“Human Rights in Light of Biotechnological Development.”

The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Duaa Diaa Ibrahim and Assistant Lecturer Ali Qasim from the College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University, on Sunday, 28 December 2025.

The scientific seminar aimed to address the following points:

• Highlighting the relationship between human rights and modern biotechnological developments, particularly in the fields of genetic engineering, medical artificial intelligence, and stem cells.

• Discussing the ethical and legal dimensions of biotechnological applications and their impact on human dignity and fundamental rights.

• Enhancing academic and societal awareness of the risks and opportunities posed by biotechnological development to human rights.

• Clarifying the role of national and international legislation in regulating the use of biotechnological technologies to ensure the protection of human rights.

• Explaining the responsibility of researchers and academic and medical institutions to adhere to human rights principles during research and application.

• Encouraging multidisciplinary scientific dialogue among legal experts, physicians, engineers, and bioethics specialists.

The seminar concluded with practical recommendations that contribute to achieving a balance between scientific progress and the protection of human rights, and to supporting a culture of responsible scientific research based on respect for human values and ethical standards.
