جامعة النهرين في المحافل الدولية: مشاركة تدريسية في فعالية Arthritis UK

شاركت الاستاذ المساعد الدكتورة اسيل محمد علي حسين إحدى تدريسيات قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي في كلية الهندسة - جامعة النهرين في فعالية عرض الأثر (Impact Showcase) التي نظمها مركز Arthritis UK لأبحاث البايوميكانيك والهندسة الحياتية بتاريخ 16 كانون الأول 2025 في جامعة كارديف – المملكة المتحدة، وذلك بدعوة رسمية من المركز، بصفتها باحثة ذات تجربة سابقة في المركز، مع خبرة علمية ومهنية متميزة.

وقدمت التدريسية خلال الفعالية عرضاً تقديمياً تناول تسليط الضوء على كيفية ترجمة أبحاث التهاب المفاصل من المختبرات العلمية إلى التطبيقات السريرية ذات الأثر المباشر على المجتمع، مع إبراز الدور المحوري لكل من علم البايوميكانيك والهندسة الحياتية في تحسين النتائج العلاجية وجودة الحياة لمرضى اضطرابات الجهاز العضلي الهيكلي.

وتأتي هذه المشاركة تأكيداً على المكانة العلمية لتدريسيي قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي – جامعة النهرين، وحضورهم الفاعل في المراكز البحثية والفعاليات العلمية الدولية ذات الأثر الأكاديمي والمجتمعي.

Al-Nahrain University in International Forums: Academic Participation in an Arthritis UK Event

Assistant Professor Dr. Aseel Mohammed Ali Hussein, a faculty member of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University, participated in the Impact Showcase event organized by the Arthritis UK Centre for Biomechanics and Bioengineering Research on 16 December 2025 at Cardiff University, United Kingdom. This participation was based on an official invitation from the Centre, in her capacity as a researcher with previous experience at the Centre and distinguished academic and professional expertise.

During the event, she delivered a presentation highlighting how arthritis research can be translated from scientific laboratories into clinical applications with direct impact on society, emphasizing the pivotal role of biomechanics and bioengineering in improving therapeutic outcomes and the quality of life of patients with musculoskeletal disorders.

This participation affirms the scientific standing of the faculty members of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Al-Nahrain University and their active presence in international research centers and scientific events with significant academic and societal impact.
