كان نخبة من طلبة قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي المتميزون في ضيافة السيد رئيس جامعة النهرين الاستاذ الدكتور علي عبد العزيز الشاوي المحترم حيث التقى فريقاً طلابياً طموحاً من قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي وبمشاركة مجموعة متميزة من طلبة قسم هندسة الذكاء الاصطناعي والهندسة المدنية ومن كلية التقنيات الأحيائية وكان اللقاء بحضور السيد مساعد رئيس الجامعة للشؤون العلمية الأستاذ الدكتور عمر فاروق عبد الرشيد المحترم، وبرعاية عميد كلية الهندسة الاستاذ الدكتور اياد مراد طخاخ المحترم وبأشراف السيدة رئيس قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي الأستاذ الدكتورة أنس قصي هاشم المحترمة..وكان ذلك يوم 

وقد برزت مشاركة قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي في هذا الفريق بتمثيل مشرّف من قبل طلبتنا:

- يوسف محمد علي

- ايمن مجيد ارشيد

- حسين علي عبد الحسن

- سارة احمد عدنان

وجاءت مشاركة طلبتنا بالتعاون والتكامل العلمي مع زملائهم من كلية التقنيات الأحيائية (القسم الطبي)  وأقسام الهندسة المدنية والذكاء الاصطناعي، مما يعكس تلاقي تخصصات العلوم الحياتية والذكاء الاصطناعي مع التطبيقات الهندسية الحديثة.

واستعرض الفريق خلال اللقاء رؤيته العلمية التي تنطلق من شغف بحثي وطموح أكاديمي، ساعياً إلى تطوير أفكار مبتكرة تواكب التطورات العالمية في مجالات التكنولوجيا الحيوية والهندسة الذكية، تمهيداً للمشاركة في إحدى أبرز المسابقات العلمية الدولية من خلال مشروع بحثي متكامل متعدد التخصصات.

وأكد الفريق سعيه إلى تمثيل الجامعة بصورة مشرّفة، مع التركيز على إبراز دور الطاقات الشبابية في تعزيز الابتكار وترسيخ ثقافة البحث العلمي المشترك، بما يسهم في بناء قاعدة معرفية قادرة على المنافسة عالمياً.

ويأتي هذا التوجه في إطار دعم الانفتاح على التجارب الدولية وتبادل الخبرات، فضلاً عن تعزيز التعاون بين التخصصات المختلفة، بما يعكس الإمكانات الواعدة لطلبتنا وقدرتهم على تحقيق أثر علمي مستقبلي متميز في مجال الهندسة الطبية الحيوية.

A distinguished group of outstanding students from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University were hosted by the President of Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdulaziz Al-Shawi. During the meeting, he met with an ambitious student research team from the Department of Biomedical Engineering, alongside an exceptional group of students from the Departments of Artificial Intelligence Engineering and Civil Engineering, as well as from the College of Biotechnology Technologies.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Omar Farouq Abdulrasheed, and was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Iyad Murad Takhakh, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Anas Qusai Hashim.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering was honorably represented in the team by the following students:

• Hussein Ali Abdulhassan
• Sarah Ahmed Adnan

The participation of our students came through scientific collaboration and integration with their colleagues from the College of Biotechnology Technologies (Medical Department), as well as the Departments of Civil Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Engineering. This reflects the convergence of life sciences and artificial intelligence with modern engineering applications.

During the meeting, the team presented its scientific vision, driven by research passion and academic ambition, aiming to develop innovative ideas that keep pace with global advancements in biotechnology and smart engineering. The initiative serves as preparation for participation in one of the most prominent international scientific competitions through an integrated multidisciplinary research project.

The team emphasized its aspiration to represent the university in an honorable manner while highlighting the role of young talents in promoting innovation and strengthening the culture of collaborative scientific research, contributing to the establishment of a knowledge base capable of competing globally.

This direction comes within the framework of supporting openness to international experiences and the exchange of expertise, as well as enhancing cooperation among different disciplines. It also reflects the promising capabilities of our students and their potential to achieve a distinguished future scientific impact in the field of biomedical engineering.
