أقام قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي في كلية الهندسة–جامعة النهرين وبرعاية عميد كلية الهندسة الاستاذ الدكتور أياد مراد طخاخ المحترم وبأشراف السيدة رئيس قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي الأستاذ الدكتورة أنس قصي هاشم المحترمة وبتنظيم من قبل لجنة متابعة الخريجين في القسم برئاسة الدكتورة سمر علي جابر المحترمة وبالتعاون مع وحدة التأهيل والتوظيف في الكلية الملتقى السنوي لخريجي القسم، وذلك يوم الاثنين الموافق 20-4-2026،

وكان الملتقى تحت عنوان:

*“استكشاف آفاق الحياة المهنية لخريجي هندسة الطب الحياتي في عصر التكنولوجيا المتقدمة”*

بهدف تعزيز أواصر التواصل بين الخريجين والطلبة، وتسليط الضوء على متطلبات سوق العمل، والمهارات اللازمة لمواكبة التطورات المتسارعة في المجال الطبي التقني.

وتضمن الملتقى جلسات حوارية قدمها نخبة من خريجي القسم، وهم:

المهندس عباس أحمد محمد / وزارة الصحة – دائرة الأمور الفنية-قسم إدارة الأجهزة الطبية

المهندسة عذراء صبيح / مستشفى الواسطي التعليمي

المهندس أحمد عبد السلام / مستشفى اليرموك التعليمي

حيث استعرض المتحدثون تجاربهم المهنية، والتحديات التي واجهتهم في بداية مسيرتهم العملية، إضافةً إلى دور مهندس الطب الحياتي في المؤسسات الصحية، وأهمية اكتساب الخبرات العملية والتطوير المستمر للمهارات التقنية.

كما شهد الملتقى تفاعلاً مميزاً من الطلبة من خلال طرح الأسئلة والاستفسارات، مما أسهم في إثراء النقاش وفتح آفاق أوسع لفهم متطلبات العمل في هذا التخصص الحيوي.

وكان الملتقى بحضور السيد المعاون العلمي المحترم والسيد المعاون الاداري المحترم وعدد من تدريسيي القسم وجمعٌ من خريجيه من مختلف الدفعات.

كما أوضح الملتقى أبرز التحديات التي تواجه الخريجين وفرص العمل المتاحة في مجالات هندسة الطب الحياتي.

وشهدت الفعالية أجواءً تفاعلية إيجابية، حيث تم التأكيد على أهمية استمرار التواصل بين الخريجين والقسم، بما يدعم تطوير البرامج الدراسية ويواكب متطلبات سوق العمل والتقدم في مجالات التكنولوجيا الطبية الحديثة.

واختُتمت فعاليات الملتقى بالتأكيد على أهمية استمرار مثل هذه النشاطات التي تسهم في إعداد خريجين مؤهلين قادرين على الانخراط في سوق العمل بكفاءة عالية.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University organized the Annual Forum for its graduates under the patronage of the respected Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Iyad Murad Takhakh, and under the supervision of the respected Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Professor Dr. Anas Qusay Hashim. The event was coordinated by the Graduate Follow-up Committee in the department, chaired by Dr. Samar Ali Jaber, in cooperation with the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the college. The forum was held on Monday, April 20, 2026.

The forum was held under the title:

“Exploring Career Prospects for Biomedical Engineering Graduates in the Era of Advanced Technology”

The event aimed to strengthen communication between graduates and students, highlight labor market requirements, and emphasize the skills needed to keep pace with rapid developments in the medical technology field.

The forum included panel discussions presented by a distinguished group of the department’s graduates:

• Engineer Abbas Ahmed Mohammed / Ministry of Health – Technical Affairs Directorate, Medical Devices Management Department
• Engineer Athraa Sabeeh / Al-Wasiti Teaching Hospital
• Engineer Ahmed Abdul Salam / Al-Yarmouk Teaching Hospital

The speakers shared their professional experiences and discussed the challenges they faced at the beginning of their careers, in addition to highlighting the role of biomedical engineers in healthcare institutions and the importance of gaining practical experience and continuously developing technical skills.

The forum also witnessed active engagement from students through questions and discussions, which enriched the dialogue and broadened understanding of career requirements in this vital field.

The event was attended by the respected Scientific Assistant Dean, the respected Administrative Assistant Dean, several faculty members of the department, and a group of graduates from different cohorts.

The forum further highlighted the major challenges faced by graduates and the available job opportunities in biomedical engineering fields.

The event featured a positive and interactive atmosphere, emphasizing the importance of maintaining continuous communication between graduates and the department to support curriculum development and align with labor market needs and advancements in modern medical technology.

The forum concluded by reaffirming the importance of continuing such activities, which contribute to preparing qualified graduates capable of effectively integrating into the labor market.
