شارك قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي في كلية الهندسة، وبرعاية السيد رئيس جامعة النهرين المحترم الأستاذ الدكتور علي عبد العزيز الشاوي والسيد عميد كلية الهندس الأستاذ الدكتور إياد مراد طخاخ المحترم وبأشراف السيدة رئيس قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي الأستاذ الدكتورة أنس قصي هاشم المحترمة ومسؤولة شعبة العلاقات الثقافي في كلية الهندسة جامعة النهرين وبالتعاون مع شعبة حدائق العلوم والتكنولوجيا / وحدة ريادة، فعاليات أسبوع الريادة والإبداع 2025 ضمن نشاطات الأسبوع العالمي لريادة الأعمال (Global Entrepreneurship Week – Iraq 2025)، وذلك تحت شعار:

"من أرض الرافدين… تنطلق الأفكار".

وتضمنت الفعاليات إقامة معرض للمشاريع الريادية الخاصة بطلبة قسم هندسةالطبالحياتي، والتي ركزت على الابتكارات الطبية والهندسية ذات البعد التطبيقي، إلى جانب تنظيم ورش تدريبية ومحاضرات تخصصية هدفت إلى تعزيز ثقافة ريادة الأعمال في المجال الطبي الحيوي، وتمكين الطلبة من تحويل أفكارهم البحثية إلى مشاريع قابلة للتنفيذ.

حيث شهدت الفعاليات إقامة محاضرة بعنوان "الخريج الريادي" للمدرس الدكتورة منى مصطفى كريم التدريسية في قسم هندسةالطب الحياتي، تم خلالها استعراض تجارب عملية في تأسيس المشاريع والشركات الناشئة، وتسليط الضوء على آليات الاستفادة من برامج الدعم المتاحة للمبادرين الشباب، بما يسهم في إعداد خريج يمتلك المهارات التقنية والإدارية اللازمة لدخول سوق العمل بثقة وكفاءة.

وتأتي هذه الأنشطة في إطار حرص قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي على التركيز  على مفاهيم الابتكار والاستدامة، وربط الجانب الأكاديمي بالتطبيق العملي، بما يواكب التطورات الحديثة في تقنيات الأجهزة الطبية والتكنولوجيا الحيوية، ويسهم في خدمة المجتمع ودعم القطاع الصحي.

The Biomedical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering participated, under the patronage of the respected President of Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Aziz Al-Shawi, and the respected Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Iyad Murad Tkhakh, and under the supervision of the respected Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Anas Qusai Hashim, along with the Cultural Relations Division of the College of Engineering at Al-Nahrain University. The event was organized in cooperation with the Science and Technology Parks Division / Entrepreneurship Unit as part of the Entrepreneurship and Creativity Week 2025 activities within Global Entrepreneurship Week (Global Entrepreneurship Week – Iraq 2025), under the slogan:

“From the Land of Mesopotamia… Ideas Take Off.”

The activities included an exhibition of entrepreneurial projects by students of the Biomedical Engineering Department, focusing on medical and engineering innovations with practical applications. In addition, training workshops and specialized lectures were organized to promote a culture of entrepreneurship in the biomedical field and to empower students to transform their research ideas into implementable projects.

The event also featured a lecture titled “The Entrepreneurial Graduate” delivered by Lecturer Dr. Mona Mustafa Karim from the Biomedical Engineering Department. During the lecture, practical experiences in establishing projects and startups were presented, along with highlighting mechanisms for benefiting from support programs available to young entrepreneurs. This contributes to preparing graduates who possess the technical and managerial skills necessary to enter the job market with confidence and competence.

These activities come as part of the Biomedical Engineering Department’s commitment to emphasizing the concepts of innovation and sustainability and linking academic knowledge with practical application, keeping pace with modern developments in medical device technologies and biotechnology, and contributing to serving the community and supporting the healthcare sector.
