شاركت الأستاذ المساعد الدكتورة رنا إبراهيم محمود التدريسية في قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي ضمن لجنة مناقشة طالبة الدكتوراه (بسمة علي جاسم) في قسم علوم الحياة / كلية العلوم للبنات/ جامعة بغداد، عن رسالتها الموسومة بـ 

“The Effect of the Plants Boswellia carterii and Sengalia senegal  Extract on Induced Arthritis in Rats”

وكانت اللجنة برئاسة الأستاذ الدكتور جبار حميد ينزيل / كلية العلوم / جامعة بغداد وعضوية الأستاذ المساعد الدكتورة رنا إبراهيم محمود والأستاذ المساعد الدكتورة إسراء صكر سلمان / كلية العلوم للبنات/ جامعة بغداد والأستاذ المساعد الدكتورة هديل مكي حبيب / كلية العلوم للبنات/ جامعة بغداد والأستاذ المساعد الدكتورة زينب كريم خبيط / كلية العلوم للبنات/ جامعة بغداد وكانت الأطروحة بأشراف الأستاذ المساعد الدكتورة عالية حسين علي / كلية العلوم للبنات/ جامعة بغداد ، حيث جرت المناقشة العلنية على رحاب قاعة المكتبة في كلية العلوم للبنات وذلك يوم الخميس الموافق 11.09.2025  وحازت الطالبة على درجة الأمتياز.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Rana Ibrahim Mahmood, faculty member in the Department of Biomedical Engineering / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University, participated as a member of the examination committee for the Ph.D. candidate Basima Ali Jasim in the Department of Biology / College of Science for Women / University of Baghdad, for her dissertation entitled:
“The Effect of the Plants Boswellia carterii and Sengalia senegal Extract on Induced Arthritis in Rats.”

The committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Jabbar Hameed Yanzeel (College of Science / University of Baghdad) and included Asst. Prof. Dr. Rana Ibrahim Mahmood, Asst. Prof. Dr. Israa Saqar Salman (College of Science for Women / University of Baghdad), Asst. Prof. Dr. Hadeel Maki Habeeb (College of Science for Women / University of Baghdad), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Zainab Kareem Khubait (College of Science for Women / University of Baghdad).

The dissertation was supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Alia Hussein Ali (College of Science for Women / University of Baghdad). The public defense took place at the Library Hall of the College of Science for Women on Thursday, 11/09/2025, and the student was awarded a grade of Excellent.
