شاركت الأستاذ المساعد الدكتورة رنا إبراهيم محمود التدريسية في قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي ضمن لجنة مناقشة طالبة الماجستير (رضية أنمار مرتضى) في قسم علوم الحياة / كلية العلوم / جامعة بغداد، عن رسالتها الموسومة بـ  “ Placental growth factor as a predictor of severity of preeclampsia in Iraqi women“ وكانت اللجنة برئاسة الأستاذ الدكتورة آمال خضير عباس / كلية العلوم / جامعة بغداد وعضوية الدكتورة لينا عبد المطلب صالح/ كلية العلوم / جامعة بغداد والأستاذ المساعد الدكتورة رنا إبراهيم محمود / كلية الهندسة / جامعة النهرين وكانت الرسالة بأشراف المدرس الدكتورة ياسمين لطيف جاسم / كلية العلوم/ جامعة بغداد، وقوّمت الرسالة علمياً من قبل أ.د. أريج عباس زبون / الجامعة المستنصرية و أ.د. أحمد نعمة عيسى / جامعة كربلاء/ كلية العلوم وقومت لغوياً من قبل أ. د. ركاد محمد خماس / كلية العلوم / جامعة بغداد حيث جرت المناقشة العلنية على رحاب قاعة الأستاذ الدكتور رعد المولى في قسم علوم الحياة وذلك يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 17-06-2025وحازت الطالبة على درجة الأمتياز.

Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Ibrahim Mahmoud, a faculty member in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, participated as a member of the examination committee for the Master's student Radhia Anmar Murtadha from the Department of Biology, College of Science, University of Baghdad. The thesis was entitled:

“Placental Growth Factor as a Predictor of Severity of Preeclampsia in Iraqi Women”

The committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Amal Khudair Abbas from the College of Science, University of Baghdad, and included Dr. Lina Abdul-Muttalib Saleh (College of Science, University of Baghdad), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Rana Ibrahim Mahmoud (College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University).

The thesis was supervised by Lecturer Dr. Yassmin Latif Jasim (College of Science, University of Baghdad), and was scientifically evaluated by Prof. Dr. Areej Abbas Zuboon (Al-Mustansiriyah University) and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ne’ma Issa (College of Science, University of Karbala). The thesis was linguistically reviewed by Prof. Dr. Rikad Mohammed Khammass (College of Science, University of Baghdad).

The public defense took place in the hall of Prof. Dr. Raad Al-Moula in the Department of Biology on Tuesday, 17 June 2025, and the student was awarded a grade of Excellent.
