شارك قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي وبإشراف عميد كلية الهندسة-جامعة النهرين الاستاذ الدكتور أياد مراد طخاخ المحترم، ومتابعة رئيس قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي الأستاذ المساعد الدكتورة انس قصي هاشم ، في فعالية المناظرة العلمية لمسابقة الرياضيات للعام الدراسي 2024-2025، والتي أقيمت في جامعة بغداد - قاعة جميل الملائكة، بمشاركة فرق طلابية من عدة كليات هندسية. وقد حصل الطالب عباس هاشم علي من المرحلة الاولى على المرتبة الثالثة والطالب محمد صادق محمد علي صادق من المرحلة الثانية على المرتبة الخامسة على جامعات العراق 

تهدف هذه المشاركة إلى تنمية مهارات الطلبة في مجالات التفكير المنطقي والتحليل وحل المشكلات، وتعزيز قدراتهم الأكاديمية في الرياضيات والتواصل العلمي.

وقد أظهر طلبة قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي مستوى متميزاً خلال المنافسات، مما يعكس حرص القسم على دعم الأنشطة الطلابية الهادفة إلى تطوير مهاراتهم العلمية والبحثية.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering, under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Iyad Murad Takhakh, and the follow-up of the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Qusay Hashim, participated in the scientific debate of the Mathematics Competition for the academic year 2024–2025. The event was held at the University of Baghdad – Jameel Al-Malaika Hall, with the participation of student teams from various engineering colleges.

Student Abbas Hashim Ali from the first year achieved third place, and student Mohammed Sadiq Mohammed Ali Sadiq from the second year achieved fifth place across all Iraqi universities.

This participation aims to develop students' skills in logical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving, as well as to strengthen their academic abilities in mathematics and scientific communication.

The students of the Department of Biomedical Engineering demonstrated outstanding performance during the competition, reflecting the department’s commitment to supporting student activities that foster scientific and research skills.
