استقبل قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي في كلية الهندسة في جامعة النهرين وضمن النشاطات العلمية الهادفة إلى تعزيز الجانب التطبيقي للطلبة، مجموعة من أساتذة وطلبة قسم الفيزياء الطبية في كلية العلوم والمتمثلة بالدكتورة تانيا تحسين نعمة مع طلبتها من خلال قيامهم بزيارة علمية ميدانية إلى قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي في كلية الهندسة–جامعة النهرين

واطلع الوفد الزائر خلال الزيارة على مخنبر التشريح والأنسجة والأطلاع على النماذج التعليمية التي يتم الاستفادة منها في مواد التشريح والفسلجة والأنسجة وكذلك مختبر الأجهزة الطبية والأطلاع على معظم الأجهزة الطبية مثل الأجهزة المختبرية وأجهزة السونار وأجهزة تخطيط القلب والأجهزة العلاجية والتشخيصية 

وقد قدّم الكادر التدريسي المتمثل بالمدرس المساعد نور باسم خلف والمهندس الاقدم نادية احمد محمد والمهندسة هدير مؤيد محمد شرحاً وافياً عن عمل الأجهزة الطبية الحديثة، وآليات استخدامها في المجالات الهندسية والطبية، بالإضافة إلى عرض التطبيقات العلمية التي تربط الجانب النظري بالتطبيقي.

تهدف هذه الزيارة إلى:

- تعريف الطلبة بالتقنيات الحديثة المستخدمة في مجال الطب الحياتي.

- توسيع مدارك الطلبة حول التطبيقات الهندسية للفيزياء الطبية.

- تعزيز التواصل العلمي بين الأقسام الأكاديمية المختلفة.

وفي ختام الزيارة، أعرب طلبة وأساتذة قسم الفيزياء الطبية عن شكرهم وامتنانهم لحفاوة الاستقبال، مشيدين بالمستوى المتميز للبنية التحتية والمختبرات المتوفرة في قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي، مع التأكيد على أهمية استمرار هذه الزيارات العلمية لما لها من أثر كبير في تطوير مهارات الطلبة وصقل خبراتهم العملية.

As part of scientific activities aimed at enhancing students’ practical experience, the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University, welcomed a group of faculty members and students from the Department of Medical Physics – College of Science, represented by Dr. Tania Tahseen Naama and her students, during a scientific field visit to the Department of Biomedical Engineering.

During the visit, the delegation toured the Anatomy and Histology Laboratory, where they explored the educational models used in anatomy, physiology, and histology courses. They also visited the Medical Devices Laboratory, where they were introduced to various medical devices, including laboratory equipment, ultrasound devices, electrocardiogram (ECG) machines, as well as therapeutic and diagnostic equipment.

The academic staff, represented by Assistant Lecturer Noor Basim Khalaf, Senior Engineer Nadia Ahmed Mohammed, and Engineer Hadeer Moayad Mohammed, provided a comprehensive explanation of the operation of modern medical devices, their mechanisms of use in engineering and medical fields, and practical demonstrations linking theoretical knowledge to real-world applications.

The objectives of the visit were to:

• Introduce students to modern technologies used in the field of biomedical engineering.

• Broaden students’ understanding of engineering applications in medical physics.

• Strengthen scientific collaboration between different academic departments.

At the end of the visit, the students and faculty members from the Department of Medical Physics expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception, praising the distinguished infrastructure and laboratory facilities available at the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
They emphasized the importance of continuing such scientific visits, given their significant impact on developing students’ skills and enhancing their practical experience.
