قام قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي في كلية الهندسة جامعة النهرين وفي إطار تعزيز التعاون بين المؤسسات الأكاديمية والمراكز الطبية المتخصصة بزيارة علمية إلى مركز إنسباير للتأهيل الطبي يوم الثلاثاء المصادف 25/2/2025 ، وذلك بهدف الاطلاع على أحدث التقنيات والأجهزة المستخدمة في مجال التأهيل الطبي.

قام بالزيارة كل من رئيس القسم الاستاذ المساعد الدكتورة انس قصي هاشم ومقرر القسم الاستاذ المساعد الدكتورة رنا ابراهيم محمود ومجموعة من التدريسيين المتمثلة بالدكتورة سارة عاشور حمود والدكتورة صفا ليث كيلان والدكتور محمود حميد مجيد

وشملت الزيارة جولة تعريفية داخل المركز، حيث استمع الطلبة وأعضاء الهيئة التدريسية إلى شرح مفصل من قبل المختصين حول الأجهزة الطبية الحديثة، مثل الأطراف الاصطناعية الذكية، وأجهزة العلاج الفيزيائي، والتقنيات المتقدمة المستخدمة في إعادة التأهيل الحركي والعصبي.

وأكد القائمون على الزيارة أهمية هذه التجربة في ربط الجانب الأكاديمي بالتطبيقات العملية، مما يسهم في تطوير مهارات الطلبة وتعزيز فهمهم للتحديات التي تواجه المرضى وطرق معالجتها من خلال التكنولوجيا الطبية الحديثة.

وفي ختام الزيارة، أعرب المشاركون عن تقديرهم لإدارة مركز إنسباير على حسن الاستقبال، مع التأكيد على أهمية استمرار مثل هذه الزيارات التي تساهم في تطوير قدرات الطلبة وإعدادهم لمستقبل مهني واعد في مجال هندسة الطب الحياتي.

As part of its commitment to strengthening collaboration between academic institutions and specialized medical centers, the Biomedical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University, organized a scientific visit to Inspire Medical Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. The visit aimed to provide students with insights into the latest technologies and devices used in medical rehabilitation.

The delegation included:

• Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Qusay Hashim (Head of the Department)

• Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Ibrahim Mahmoud (Department Rapporteur)

• Faculty members:

During the visit, students and faculty members participated in a guided tour of the center, where specialists provided detailed explanations about cutting-edge medical rehabilitation devices, including:
Smart prosthetic limbs
Physiotherapy equipment
Advanced technologies for motor and neurological rehabilitation

The visit emphasized the importance of bridging academic learning with real-world applications, helping students develop practical skills and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges patients face and the role of biomedical technology in rehabilitation.

At the end of the visit, participants expressed their appreciation to the management of Inspire Medical Rehabilitation Center for their hospitality and valuable insights. The department reaffirmed its commitment to organizing similar visits in the future, as such experiences play a crucial role in preparing students for successful careers in biomedical engineering.
