As part of the activities of the Biomedical Engineering Department and within the series of scientific activities for the academic year 2023-2024, the department organized a scientific workshop titled "Histotechniques for Tissue Slide Preparation." The workshop was conducted by Assistant Professor Enas Shahab Ahmed, a faculty member in the Biomedical Engineering Department, on January 21, 2024.

During the workshop, a detailed explanation was provided on the histotechniques used in preparing tissue slides, particularly those employed in histopathological laboratories for medical purposes. The workshop served as an educational tool for students at various levels of undergraduate and postgraduate studies. The event was attended by the department head, faculty members, and affiliated staff. The workshop concluded with constructive discussions aimed at enhancing the department's laboratories by improving educational resources that benefit both undergraduate and postgraduate students in the college.
