As part of the activities of the Biomedical Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Sufian Mondher Saleh, a faculty member in the department, conducted a training course titled "Executive Program in Developing Influential Leaders."

Effective leadership is considered one of the secrets to the success of organizations, regardless of their types, both specific and general. Leadership skills increase the chances of success and excellence, help establish effective communication with others, enhance mutual dialogue, provide support and guidance to subordinates, enabling them to achieve tasks and duties with a high degree of success and excellence. Furthermore, leaders encourage and motivate their teams to improve performance levels.

The role of an influential leader has become crucial for the development of government and private organizations in the 21st century, witnessing rapid developments and changes in various fields.

The training course covers the concept and importance of influential leadership, various aspects of successful leadership, including the leader's personality, psychological traits, and behaviors. It also addresses the role of employees in the organization, how to motivate and engage them in decision-making processes, and positively influence them. The course extends to leadership of groups and work teams, as well as leading the change process in companies, institutions, and organizations. Additionally, the course introduces some modern leadership concepts such as transformative leadership, motivational leadership, and delegation leadership, highlighting the role of an influential and inspiring leader in changing organizational culture for the better, both in terms of the institution's performance and overall productivity.
