The Department of Biomedical Engineering, recognizing the necessity of enriching the specialized skills of postgraduate students to assist them in composing their scientific papers and theses, organized a training course titled "Scientific Research Skills." The course was conducted by Dr. Asil Mohammed Ali Hussein, a faculty member in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Al-Nahrain, as part of the Continuous Education Unit.

The aim of the course was to empower postgraduate students to acquire a set of skills that would help them overcome technical obstacles and research problems. The topics covered a variety of subjects, including:

  • How to use EndNote
  • Journal indexing by Scopus and Clarivate
  • Finding a suitable journal to publish your research
  • Essentials in Writing the Literature Review

Participants underwent an assessment at the end of the course, and numerous ideas and discussions were raised, contributing to the overall impact and value of the training.
