Conducting a scientific seminar on the private sector and university life

The Department of Biomedical Engineering contributed to the organization of a seminar titled 'The Private Sector and University Life.' Dr. Asil Mohammed Ali Hussein, along with some students from the department, participated in the event. The seminar was sponsored by the College of Engineering in collaboration with Al-Muhatta Foundation, as part of the cooperation between government universities and institutions supporting entrepreneurship.

The event was under the direct supervision of the honorable Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Juma Salman Jiyad. The Dean and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Naseer Aboud Issa, attended the seminar, along with the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Qais Hashem, and other department heads. The seminar took place in the Peace Hall on Thursday, December 21, 2023.

One of the main objectives of the seminar was to raise awareness among students about how to invest in their university life to develop the necessary skills for building a successful career. It aimed to help students understand the private sector and the world of entrepreneurship in Iraq. Dr. Asil participated in the panel discussion alongside Mr. Amar Al-Khatib and Mr. Ahmed Sabhi, addressing student issues in building skills and securing employment.

The discussion also focused on how to benefit from the university environment to develop personal and practical skills for a successful career path. The goal was to graduate students ready to enter the job market, capable of creativity and innovation, and adept at harnessing modern technology to meet contemporary needs. The seminar generated numerous ideas and discussions that enriched the overall theme of the event
