The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Al-Nahrain, participated in the central ceremony to celebrate the first-year students. The event took place on Thursday, December 7, 2023, organized by the College of Engineering to welcome new students for the academic year 2023-2024. The ceremony was conducted under the direct supervision of the esteemed Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Jumaa Salman Jiyad. The ceremony was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Hussein Abdul Hafez, the Administrative Assistant to the University President, and Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Farouk Abdul-Rasheed, the Scientific Assistant to the University President. Also present were department heads, faculty members, and staff of the College of Engineering.

The ceremony concluded with the College of Engineering honoring the top-performing students for the academic year 2023-2024, wishing them continued success and progress.
