Graduate students pursuing their Master's degree in the Biomedical Engineering Department, under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Jumaa Salman Jiyad, organized a scientific visit to the laboratories of the Prosthetics and Industrial Supports Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, University of Al-Nahrain.

The visit aimed to familiarize the students with the equipment and tests available in the Prosthetics and Industrial Supports Engineering laboratories, especially those related to the examination of biomaterials. These examinations pave the way for researchers to understand the manufactured materials used in the production of prosthetics or other medical devices. This is crucial for their implantation in the human body, where they come into direct contact with body tissues and organs. The students also learned about the manufacturing process and the essential tests that these materials undergo, enabling them to manufacture and use them in their research.
