Professor Dr. Jamal Abdul Jabbar Hassan, from the Biomedical Engineering Department, chaired the session on academic research at the Fifth International Scientific Conference on Creativity and Innovation. The conference was held under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in collaboration with the Research and Development Department, the University of Al-Nahrain, and the Iraqi International Forum for Creativity and Innovation.

The session was attended by Dr. Saad Sahib Al-Waeli from the Minister's Office, Professor Jumaa Salman Jiyad, the Dean of the College of Engineering, the Dean of the College of Biotechnology, researchers, and postgraduate students in the Biomedical Engineering Department. The scientific research was presented, discussed, and highlighted the key aspects of creativity and innovation in those studies.
