Within student activities and competitions in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports

Students from the Computer Engineering Department participated in the National Memory Championship, including:

The Ministry of Youth and Sports organized the National Memory Championship, with the participation of Iraqi public and private universities. The College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University participated in the tournament, which is part of the program for discovering and developing memory for the gifted.

The Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Salman Juma Jiyad, said: “The participation of the students of the College of Engineering in this tournament aims to select an elite group to compete in the Arab and international markets in the memory competition, in addition to continuous updating of memory training strategies and forms of tests in the tournament, in a way that ensures improvement.” Students’ abilities in all scientific and intellectual fields.

It should be noted that the competition is based on memory tests for students in the form of stages. The first stage includes four axes, and the participating students are selected through each axis. After that, the winning students are qualified for the second stage, where they participate and compete with other universities and colleges, and the winner is then nominated. Championship to participate in the Arab World Memory Championship.
