Within the framework of the activities of the Graduate Follow-up Committee in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, the committee hosted on the morning of Sunday, December 3, 2023, one of the department’s prominent graduates, Assistant Lecturer Engineer Mahdi Muwafaq Nofal, who currently works on the staff of Al-Numan Hospital. The meeting included a discussion of the role played by the biomedical engineer in the health care sector in Iraq, both technically and administratively, and developments in the department’s curricula were discussed to suit the labor market. The possibility of holding workshops was also discussed with the participation of graduates of the department from various important job specializations in the private and government sectors to prepare students for the labor market through their understanding of practical applications in the field of biomedical engineering in hospitals and private companies.
