A workshop on combating violence against women was conducted under the supervision of Ms. Enas Abdul Amir Aboud, lecturer in the Department of Prosthetics and Industrial Supports Engineering. The workshop took place in the Tigris Hall with the aim of raising awareness about various forms of violence targeting women and providing strategies for prevention and intervention. During the workshop, Ms. Enas Abdul Amir Aboud emphasized the importance of addressing this issue and discussed the roles of individuals, communities, and organizations in combating violence against women. Diverse topics were discussed, including types of violence, its impact on victims, legal frameworks, and available support services for survivors. Ms. Enas Abdul Amir Aboud stressed the necessity of collective efforts in combating violence against women, emphasizing that 'it is essential for us to collaborate as a society to challenge and change attitudes and behaviors that perpetuate violence. Through increased awareness and enhanced education, we can strive for a society free from violence and discrimination against women.'
