Participation of third-year student Rabie Sabah in the Computer Engineering Department - College of Engineering in the Iraqi Universities Chess Championship, where she was crowned

Al-Nahrain University won the first place cup in the Iraqi Universities Chess Championship.

This tournament is within the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Bureau, and the Student Activities Department, to hold competitions for students from all Iraqi universities, and under the direct supervision of the Student Activities Department at the Presidency of Al-Nahrain University. The Al-Nahrain University team’s delegation achieved first place in the Iraqi Universities Chess Championship for Students, which was hosted by the university. Technology, with the participation of (46) public and private universities.

The delegation of the Al-Nahrain University team was represented by the head of the Student Activities Division at the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Salman Ali Hassan, engineer Hussein Salama, the team’s coach, player Muhammad Ayman, player Amir Haider, player Abdullah Falah, player Omar Ali from the College of Medicine, player Rabie Sabah, and player Ali Abbas from the College of Engineering.

The winning team extended thanks and appreciation to the President of Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Aziz Al-Shawi, for his support of student activities at the university.
