The Biomedical Engineering Department participated in an examination committee, with the involvement of the department's chair, Assistant Professor Dr. Auns Qusai Hashim, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Faiq Hussein from the University of Al-Nahrain, College of Engineering, Biomedical Engineering Department. They served as members of the examination committee for the doctoral student Haider Saadi Radeef from the University of Al-Nahrain, College of Information Engineering, Information Engineering Department, discussing his thesis titled:

"Intelligent HRL Controlled by EEG-Signals and PSO Optimization Technique"

The examination committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Raad Sami Fayadh from the University of Al-Nahrain, College of Engineering, Computer Engineering Department. Other members included Professor Dr. Nadia Adnan Shalthag from the University of Baghdad, College of Engineering, Computer Engineering Department, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Ibrahim Majid from the College of Information Engineering, Information Engineering Department. The supervision was conducted by Professor Dr. Mohammed Zaki Al-Faiz from the College of Information Engineering, Information Engineering Department. The student successfully fulfilled the requirements for obtaining the doctoral degree.
