The Department of Biomedical Engineering participated with a number of students from the fifth, fourth, and third stages, under the supervision of Dr. Samar Ali Jaber, faculty member in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, in the National Memory Championship held at the Grand Conference Hall at the University of Al-Nahrain. The competition was organized for university students in collaboration with the Rehabilitation and Employment Division in the University Presidency, and the Professional and Scientific Skills Development Department in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, as part of the Scientific Youth Talent Program (Discover and Develop Memory for the Talented).

The competition included memory retrieval tests for students from various colleges affiliated with the university, serving as a preliminary step for participation with other universities in the upcoming stages. This competition aims to test the abilities of talented students, instill a spirit of scientific and professional competition among university students, and encourage scientific and professional skills development throughout the university stages.
