The Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering/University of Al-Nahrain, as part of its scientific activities, organized a scientific trip for fourth-year students to visit the Army Canal Bridges project under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Falih Al-Bayati, accompanied by Engineer Luay Hassan Jabbar and Engineer Farouk Raad Saadallah. The visit took place on Thursday, October 26, 2023, where they were received by the engineering and administrative staff of the executing entities (Danoob and A'mar Al-Badia companies).

The purpose of this visit is to familiarize students with the construction and implementation processes in civil engineering projects through the aforementioned project. This project is considered one of the congestion relief projects under the Roads and Bridges Department of the Ministry of Construction and Housing, aiming to connect the Engineers' District to the interior of Baghdad.

During this visit, students had the opportunity to learn about the technologies and processes used in large construction projects. Consequently, they can apply this knowledge in their future projects and contribute to the development of infrastructure in Iraq.
