A group of lecturers from the Department of Civil Engineering participated in the International Conference on Geotechnical Engineering and Energetic in Iraq, which was organized by the Iraqi Scientific Society in Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering ISSSMFE, Peter the Great St, Petersburg Polytechnic University and Al-Mashriq University for the period from 17 – 19 May 2023 Baghdad - Iraq.

A group of civil engineering faculty members presided over some of the conference sessions, which included the presentation of distinguished research by foreign and Iraqi researchers. The Civil Engineering Department had an active participation in the conference with distinguished research, for which it received certificates of appreciation.
