As part of the Department of Computer Engineering’s ongoing efforts to enhance the educational environment and develop its laboratory infrastructure, and under the direction of the Department’s Head**, the *Computer Laboratory (2) has been rehabilitated and upgraded with the active participation of a number of department faculty members and fourth-year students.

The rehabilitation works included the **installation of new computers, maintenance and refurbishment of existing computers, as well as the installation and configuration of a Local Area Network (LAN)** to interconnect the laboratory computers and provide an integrated networking environment.

The participation of fourth-year students in the rehabilitation activities provided them with a valuable opportunity to apply their academic knowledge and practical skills in computer maintenance, networking, and laboratory infrastructure within a real-world educational environment.

This initiative reflects the Department’s commitment to **enhancing practical education, supporting digital transformation, and developing modern technical infrastructure** that meets students’ educational needs and keeps pace with advancements in computer engineering and information technology.
