The Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University—under the supervision of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit—participated in the "Exhibition of Innovations, Distinguished Graduation Projects, and Smart Medical Devices" organized by the Iraqi Engineers Union on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

During the exhibition, the department showcased a range of outstanding engineering projects and innovations developed by its students and faculty in the fields of prosthetics, orthotics, and smart medical technologies. This participation aligns with efforts to support applied innovation, promote scientific outputs to the labor market, and enhance the specialization's role in serving the community and meeting its technical and medical needs.

The event included an honoring ceremony for the participating graduates and their supervising professors in recognition of their distinguished scientific work. Those honored included:
