This study aimed to achieve the green synthesis of nanomaterials from sustainable sources using plant extracts, as well as to prepare nickel oxide/hydroxyapatite (NiO/HA) nanocomposites and evaluate their physical, electrochemical, and biological properties. In addition, the study investigated their efficiency as promising applications in biosensors.
The results demonstrated the successful green synthesis of NiO nanoparticles and the formation of NiO/HA nanocomposites with favorable structural and surface properties. Furthermore, the composites exhibited antibacterial activity and a significant electrochemical response, indicating their potential use as active materials in biosensor applications.
The thesis was accepted as it fulfilled the requirements for obtaining a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering.
