**Under the Patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering**

Within the framework of the cooperation agreement established between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and [Huawei ICT Academy](https://e.huawei.com/en/talent/?utm_source=chatgpt.com#/ict-academy), Huawei’s academic training programs have been launched with the aim of developing students’ skills in the fields of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The programs are supervised and coordinated by the Computer Engineering Department, which serves as the responsible body for implementing and managing the program within the College of Engineering.

The training programs cover a wide range of specialized areas, including networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things (IoT). These programs contribute to strengthening students’ practical and academic competencies and preparing them for the labor market in accordance with the latest global technologies.

The program is open to students from various departments within the College of Engineering, including the Computer Engineering Department, Network Engineering Department, Laser and Optoelectronics Engineering Department, and Civil Engineering Department, in addition to students from other colleges across Al-Nahrain University. This broad participation aims to expand the scope of beneficiaries and enhance students’ technical and knowledge-based skills.

The College Deanship reaffirmed its commitment to supporting academic and training initiatives that contribute to improving students’ qualifications and advancing their technical capabilities through engagement with international initiatives and collaboration with reputable institutions and leading technology companies.
