Under the patronage of the College of Engineering at Al-Nahrain University, and under the supervision of the Headship of the Department of Architectural Engineering, the Department of Architectural Engineering organized a scientific field visit for first-year students to the site of Ayadi Al-Adl Residential Complex on the Karkh side of Baghdad, as part of the requirements of the Architectural Design course, under the supervision of the specialized academic staff, on 5 April 2026.
The visit aimed to provide students with direct on-site exposure to the project location and to familiarize them with its planning and architectural aspects. It also sought to enhance their observational and analytical skills, strengthen their understanding of the fundamental concepts of architectural design, and bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application.
This activity aligns with the Department’s commitment to supporting the Bologna Process and promoting outcome-based applied education, in a manner consistent with achieving the goal of Quality Education within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals.
