Students from the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University participated in the “Spring of Al-Nahrain” Festival, held on Sunday, May 3, 2026. The event was attended by the University President, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdulaziz Al-Shawi, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Omar Farouq Abdul Rasheed, the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Alaa Hussein Abd, and the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Iyad Murad Takhakh, along with several faculty members and a large number of students.

The department’s students demonstrated an active presence in the festival’s accompanying bazaar, where they showcased a range of smart and robotic student projects. These projects presented innovative practical models in the fields of artificial intelligence, intelligent systems, and robotics, reflecting the advanced academic level of the students and their ability to transform engineering concepts into real-world applications that serve various sectors.

The event also included a visit by the Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering and the academic staff to the students’ exhibition booth, where they reviewed the projects and provided moral support and encouragement. This reflects the department’s commitment to following up on student outputs and enhancing their participation in scientific and university activities.

The showcased projects received wide praise from attendees and interested visitors due to their creative ideas and modern technical solutions, highlighting the students’ skills in design, programming, and the integration of various engineering disciplines.
