Students from the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University actively participated, on April 14, 2026, in a national conference hosted by the University of Baghdad under the theme “Knowledge Economy: Entrepreneurial Universities and a Sustainable Economy.” The conference aimed to strengthen integration between academic institutions and labor market demands.

During the event, the students presented a range of robots that they had designed and developed themselves. These projects varied in form and functionality, attracting the attention of attendees due to their advanced technical level and innovative, application-oriented ideas. The projects were highly praised by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Affairs, who commended the students’ efforts and excellence in delivering promising technological solutions.

This participation reflects the active role of the College of Engineering students at Al-Nahrain University and their ability to translate academic knowledge into advanced practical applications in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence, contributing to the promotion of innovation and sustainable development.
