On April 13, 2026, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering organized a distinguished scientific visit to the Ministry of Youth and Sports / Scientific Care Directorate, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration with governmental institutions and to bridge academic outcomes with modern practical applications.

The visit included a comprehensive field tour of the Directorate’s specialized workshops, where students explored the latest technologies in 3D printing, unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), and robotic systems. They were also given the opportunity to directly engage with these advanced technologies and experience real-world working environments.

The program further featured intensive hands-on training focused on the fundamentals of robot interfacing and programming, in addition to learning the mechanisms of designing and fabricating models using 3D printers. This contributes to enhancing students’ practical competencies and supports their research projects in artificial intelligence and smart technologies.

This visit aligns with the college’s strategy to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application, while providing a stimulating educational environment that helps refine students’ skills, improve their professional readiness, and meet labor market demands, ultimately supporting innovation and scientific research.
