As part of academic activities aimed at linking the academic aspect with the cultural dimension, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University organized a field visit on 30/3/2026 to Al-Mutanabbi Street and the Al-Qishla area, with the participation of a number of faculty members and first-year morning study students.

This initiative comes within the department’s direction to enrich students’ educational experience beyond the classroom by providing direct exposure to the cultural and intellectual movement in one of Baghdad’s most prominent heritage landmarks, as well as engaging with the diverse cultural environment that characterizes Al-Mutanabbi Street, thereby enhancing students’ intellectual awareness and supporting their openness to various sources of knowledge.
