The exhibition was attended by the Dean of the College, who reviewed the students’ works and commended the adopted design methodology, as well as the resulting projects, which were characterized by the solidity of the architectural approach, clarity of design vision, and precision in planning and execution.
The submitted projects were based on the application of sustainable green design principles, through adopting architectural solutions that enhance energy efficiency, integrating solar energy systems, addressing environmental aspects related to indoor environmental quality, in addition to rationalizing the use of natural resources and achieving a balance between functional requirements and environmental considerations.
The designs reflected an advanced understanding of sustainability concepts in contemporary architecture and a conscious effort to integrate modern technologies with the local climatic and environmental context, contributing to the promotion of environmental responsibility within the students’ design process.
A selection of student projects representing samples of the submitted works will be presented below
