The Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering – Nahrain University held the first seminar for fourth-year students, as part of the graduation project requirements for the current academic year.

The seminar was attended by the department head, faculty members, and supervising committee members, where students delivered scientific presentations on their graduation project ideas, explaining the project objectives, methodologies, achieved progress, and future plans for completion.

The seminar sessions included constructive scientific discussions between students and committee members, during which feedback and scientific guidance were provided to develop the projects and address technical and research challenges that students might face.

The department emphasized that the first seminar aims to monitor the progress of graduation projects and enhance students’ research and practical skills, contributing to raising the quality of engineering education and encouraging students to innovate and excel in computer engineering fields.

This activity also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, by enhancing the quality of engineering education, developing students’ research and innovation skills, and preparing a generation capable of contributing effectively to society.
