The College of Engineering team at Nahrain University achieved second place in the volleyball championship, with the participation of top students from various departments of the college, including students from the Department of Computer Engineering, who were part of the college team competing in the tournament.

This achievement is the result of high sportsmanship and teamwork demonstrated by the team throughout the competition, where the players delivered outstanding performances that reflected their athletic skills, discipline, and cooperative spirit.

Several students from the Department of Computer Engineering contributed significantly to this achievement, including:
Yaseen Ali, Mohammed Thamer, Ahmed Diaa, Mustafa Hazem, and Abdul Hakim Abbas, who played a prominent role in the team’s performance and in securing this advanced position.

The Dean of the College of Engineering expressed pride in this accomplishment, emphasizing the college’s continuous support for sports and student activities, recognizing their important role in promoting teamwork and developing the well-rounded character of university students alongside academic excellence.
