As part of the scientific activities of the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering at the College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University,
a Skills Development Lecture was held on Monday, 17 November 2025, in Dijla Hall, entitled:
“Effective Presentations for Engineers (How to Confidently Present Your Graduation Project)”.

The lecture was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Alaq Saad, and included an explanation of the fundamentals of preparing a professional presentation, organizing ideas, and effectively using visual aids. It also covered presentation skills, overcoming stage fright, and methods for responding to committee questions during graduation project defenses.

The session witnessed the attendance of a number of students and faculty members, who emphasized the importance of such activities in developing their skills.
