Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University, and organized by the Department of Architecture in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and Tamayouz Award for Architecture,
the Department of Architecture held a workshop on Monday, October 20, 2025, titled:
“The Studio as a Platform for Dialogue: The Concept of Luxury in Urban Spaces within the Tamayouz 2025 Experience.”
The workshop was presented by Dr. Rasha Abdul Kareem Ali, the Stakeholder Coordinator and one of the academic tutors of the Tamayouz Workshop 2025, who discussed the intellectual and methodological framework applied in the workshop, held in Baghdad as part of the First Arab Architecture Festival .

In addition, a student exhibition showcased the outcomes of the Tamayouz Workshop, featuring projects from various Iraqi and Arab universities. The exhibition highlighted a rich diversity of architectural visions that combined academic depth with youthful creativity.
This activity reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to fostering academic dialogue, encouraging innovative learning approaches, and sharing knowledge between students and faculty within the field of contemporary architectural design.
