In line with the principle of cooperation between state institutions and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and with the aim of strengthening the practical aspects of undergraduate education, the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University / Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering organized a scientific visit to the Iraq Gate Company for Electronic Payment (Switch) on Thursday, October 30, 2025, with the participation of several faculty members and second-year students from both the morning and evening studies.

The visit aimed to familiarize students with the company’s departments and operational mechanisms in the field of electronic payment systems, as well as to introduce them to future career opportunities in the technological and digital sectors. This initiative contributes to bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical applications, while enhancing students’ competencies in artificial intelligence and digital transformation.

This visit comes as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to expand cooperation with public and private sector institutions, in order to develop students’ professional skills and support the university’s vision of aligning educational outcomes with the needs of the national labor market.
