As part of the academic activities of the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Al-Nahrain, a skill development lecture titled “Introduction to Using ANSYS for Engineering Designs” was held on Monday, October 28, 2025, in Al-Furat Hall.

The lecture was delivered by Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul Samee Al-Droubi and included an introduction to the fundamentals of using ANSYS for analysing and designing engineering models. It also featured practical demonstrations illustrating how to utilise the software in real engineering projects.

The lecture was attended by a number of students and faculty members who actively engaged with the content, highlighting the importance of such events in developing technical skills and enhancing capabilities in engineering design using modern software tools.
