The College of Engineering at Al-Nahrain University held its first Student Council meeting on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in the College Council Hall. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College and his assistants, as well as officials from the Student Activities Division, the Media Department, and the Volunteer Work Committee.

The meeting included student representatives from all academic departments, with Mustafa Salim Abdul-Baqi representing the department (representing all academic levels). The meeting heard the most important observations and problems facing students in academic and service areas, and discussed proposed appropriate solutions in coordination with the College Deanship.

The meeting also addressed future visions for activating the Student Council's role in supporting university activities and developing the teaching and learning environment, thus enhancing the spirit of belonging, initiative, and responsibility among students.
