Asst. Prof. Dr. Rana Ibrahim Mahmood, faculty member in the Department of Biomedical Engineering / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University, participated as a member of the examination committee for the Ph.D. candidate Basima Ali Jasim in the Department of Biology / College of Science for Women / University of Baghdad, for her dissertation entitled:
“The Effect of the Plants Boswellia carterii and Sengalia senegal Extract on Induced Arthritis in Rats.”

The committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Jabbar Hameed Yanzeel (College of Science / University of Baghdad) and included Asst. Prof. Dr. Rana Ibrahim Mahmood, Asst. Prof. Dr. Israa Saqar Salman (College of Science for Women / University of Baghdad), Asst. Prof. Dr. Hadeel Maki Habeeb (College of Science for Women / University of Baghdad), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Zainab Kareem Khubait (College of Science for Women / University of Baghdad).

The dissertation was supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Alia Hussein Ali (College of Science for Women / University of Baghdad). The public defense took place at the Library Hall of the College of Science for Women on Thursday, 11/09/2025, and the student was awarded a grade of Excellent.
