Participation in a Master’s Thesis Defense Committee

Prof. Dr. Anas Qusay Hashim, from the Department of Biomedical Engineering, College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University, participated in the defense committee of a master’s thesis in the Department of Medical Instrumentation Engineering Techniques / Electrical Engineering Technical College.

The public defense of the master’s student Omar Sameer Khalis, from the Department of Medical Instrumentation Engineering Techniques / Electrical Engineering Technical College, was held on Thursday, 28th August 2025, for his thesis entitled:

“Efficient Remote Healthcare Patient Monitoring System Based on Blockchain Technology”

The research addressed a scientific idea aiming to solve a societal problem, with the study focusing on finding appropriate solutions.

The defense committee was composed of:

• Prof. Dr. Raad Farhoud Jasib – Al-Kut Technical Institute, Chairman

• Prof. Dr. Anas Qusay Hashim – Al-Nahrain University / College of Engineering, Member

• Asst. Prof. Dr. Amal Ibrahim Mahmood – Electrical Engineering Technical College, Member

• Lecturer Salim Lateef Mohammed – Electrical Engineering Technical College, Member and Thesis Supervisor

• Prof. Dr. Adnan Hussein Ali – Institute of Technology / Baghdad, Member and Thesis Supervisor

After discussing the thesis, listening to the student’s defense, and reviewing his detailed explanations, he was granted the Master’s Degree successfully.
