At 9:00 am on Sunday, 31/8/2025, in the council room of the Civil Engineering Department / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University, a discussion was held for a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil Engineering (Ahmed Zamil Hassan) in his dissertation tagged:

“STRENGTH PREDICTION OF HIGH-STRENGTH CONCRETE COLUMNS WITH REVISED

STRENGTH REDUCTION FACTORS”

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Saad Khalaf Muhaisen/ College of Engineering / Al-Mustanseriyah University, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Sheelan Mahmoud Hamah / College of Engineering / University of Anbar, and the membership of Asst. Prof. Dr. Sultan Ahmed Dawood /  College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University, and the membership of  Asst. Prof. Dr. Dhiaa Mustafa Dheeban / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University, and Assistant Asst. Prof. Dr. Zuhair Khudher Alawi / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University.

The dissertation was completed under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kamal Mahmood from the Civil Engineering Department / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University.

The dissertation was scientifically evaluated by the first scientific reviewer (Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Muhammed Rasheed Kamil  / College of Engineering / Al-Mustanseriyah University) and the second scientific reviewer (Asst. Prof.  Dr.  Hawraa Muhammed Ali Muhammed / College of Engineering / Kerbala University) and linguistically by (Lecturer Dr. Mustafa  Hameed Farhan / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University), where the dissertation was accepted as it fulfilled the requirements for obtaining a Ph.D. degree.
