At 9:00 am on Tuesday, 26/8/2025, in the council room of the Civil Engineering Department / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University, a discussion was held for a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil Engineering (Ousamah AbdulHassan Salman) in his dissertation tagged:

“RESPONSE OF UNCONNECTED PILED RAFT FOUNDATION IN CLAYEY SOIL UNDER

EARTHQUAKES”

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. AbdulAziz AbdulRasool Aziz / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Maki Jaafer Muhammed / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Haitham Alaa Hussein /  College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University, and the membership of  Prof. Dr. Muhammed Faiq Aswad / College of Engineering / University of Technology, and Assistant Professor Dr. Mahdi Abbas Mahdi / College of Engineering / University of Karbala.

The dissertation was completed under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Qassun Saad Al-Deen Muhammed Shafeeq from the Civil Engineering Department / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University

The dissertation was scientifically evaluated by the first scientific reviewer (Prof. Dr. Jassim Muhammed Abbas  / College of Engineering / University of Diyalah) and the second scientific reviewer (Prof.  Dr.  Muhammed Kadhum Muhi Al-Deen / College of Engineering / Al-Kufa University) and linguistically by (Lecturer Dr. Ahmaed Farhan Muwaiz / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University), where the dissertation was accepted as it fulfilled the requirements for obtaining a Ph.D. degree.
