The Biomedical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University, under the guidance of the respected Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Iyad Murad Takhakh, has carried out maintenance and rehabilitation work on the laboratory equipment within the department. This included replacing worn-out devices in preparation for the upcoming academic year, and aimed at developing the educational and research environment, improving the quality of the educational process, and providing an advanced practical environment for students and researchers.

The maintenance work included rehabilitating medical devices in the Medical Devices Laboratory and electrical devices in the Electrical Circuits Laboratory, as well as equipment in other laboratories. Additionally, a complete inspection of the computers in the Computer Laboratory was conducted, with installation and updating of software and other devices used in practical experiments. Some technical equipment was also upgraded in line with recent advancements in biomedical engineering to ensure the safety and efficiency of the devices in meeting the requirements of curricula and research projects.

The Biomedical Engineering Department reaffirms its commitment to continuing efforts to provide the best facilities and well-equipped laboratories to help graduate outstanding engineering professionals capable of keeping pace with scientific and technological developments in this vital field.
